Marshall Mouse written by Camille Blue Amy
Since I’ve been busy with my series of larger painting and haven’t worked up any quick small painting in a few days I thought this might be a good time to share this children’s book with you. I really enjoyed the process of creating a believable mouse-person and moving him through his environment.

His Dad and Uncles make him some high tops.
This painting is sold
It's hard to walk in high-tops.
Marshall is sad.
Marshall writes to his Uncle to tell him what he learned.
"Be careful what you wish for, it might just come true."

Hey Lori, are these done in oils, or acrylics? If acrylics do you have any advice on how to make acrylics look like oils?

These are all oils. I never warmed up to acrylics. I didn’t like the feel of painting with plastic. Acrylics would be more convenient so if you figure it out let me know!
